The importance of Train the Trainer refresher courses

13 November 2020

Our Train the Trainer courses have become integral to the safety and performance of countless workplaces throughout the UK. With our experience and expertise, instructors from all industries and backgrounds have been able to pass on the right knowledge and training to the wider workforce. Workplace safety guidance and regulations are however continuously evolving, which means every health and safety trainer in every workplace has to be armed with the most up-to-date materials to successfully deliver in-house training.

In this blog post, we take a closer look at the importance of Train the Trainer refresher courses, and how they can be used to shape the safety and performance of your company not just now but for years to come.

What are the benefits of Train the Trainer refresher courses?

At National Training Services, we want all our customers to experience the long term advantages of improved, fully compliant workplace health and safety. This can only be achieved through the continued professional development of your trainers and wider staff.

Whilst our full, two-day Train the Trainer courses offer a comprehensive insight into various workplace safety and performance subject matters, ensuring your trainers have the latest materials and information to deliver the very best training and support to your wider workforce is essential. That’s where our Train the Trainer refresher courses come in…

By completing a Train the Trainer refresher course, trainers can learn the latest, boost understanding, refresh their memories, and deliver an even better service to their teams.

How often should refresher training be completed?

We recommend that all National Training Services graduates complete a Train the Trainer refresher course every three years to ensure they’re up-to-date with the latest rules, regulations and guidance within their area of expertise.

If you didn’t undertake your initial trainer course with us, you must attend a full, two-day Train the Trainer course.

What refresher courses do we offer?

We offer a long list of refresher training courses, all of which last for one day. On our Train the Trainer refresher courses, you’ll be provided with everything you need to deliver a high standard of safety and performance within the workplace. This includes updated National Training Services registration and certification, all course materials, assessment, an updated trainer’s pack, and free post-course support.
