Terms & Conditions

Booking a course:

Our booking process is as follows:

1.         Delegate(s) complete in full and return the booking form via email to NTS.

2.         NTS acknowledge receipt of booking form and reply with an invoice, terms & conditions and joining instructions.

3.         When payment is received by NTS, delegates place is confirmed, and the pre-course paperwork is sent via email. The pre-course paperwork must be completed in full and returned to NTS via email before the course commences.

•           Any course dates reserved are only provisional, until a completed booking form and full payment has been received by our office in Northampton.

•           Details of contact, company name, invoicing address, purchase order if required, course & dates, and total number of delegates attending must be provided.

•           Booking forms must be sent by email (info@ntstraining.co.uk).

•           National Training Services reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for any reason at any time.

•           The total number of delegates stated on the invoice, is the maximum number of delegates that may attend the training course. Any extra delegates that arrive on the day will not be permitted to attend.

•           If extra delegates need to be added to your booking, this must be agreed prior to the course date with NTS and is subject to our course maximum. An additional invoice will be raised.

•           Onsite training is subject to our minimum charges.

•           The completed booking form acts as a binding acceptance of the terms laid down in this document.

•          By completing and submitting this booking form, you confirm that you have ensured the course booked meets your training requirements prior to attending.

 

Payment:

•           Full payment must be made prior to attending the training course.

•           If payment is not received prior to the training course start date, any persons booked may NOT be permitted to join the training course.

•           Following receipt of the completed booking form, we will issue an invoice for the course(s).

•           Our payment terms are strictly 30 days from the date of the invoice.

•           In all cases payment must be made prior to the commencement of the training course.

•           Courses booked within 30 days of the start of the training course, must be paid upon receipt of the invoice.

•           Our preferred method of payment is BACS details are on the invoice.

•           Alternatively, you can pay by cheque however the cheque must be CLEARED in our account prior to the course commencement.

•           We can send you a card payment link via email. If a link is required, please email us to let us know.

•           Interest will be charged at 5% of the original invoice amount, immediately after the due date of the invoice.

•           Further interest of 5% of the last invoice total will be charged for each 30 days outstanding thereafter.

•           Please note if payment is not received prior to course commencement and your delegate does not attend the course booked, our cancellation charges will apply.

•           National Training Services will withhold all materials and certificates until receipt of the invoice payment.

 

Cancellation policy:

Please note, where training dates have been specifically arranged for you or your company, a minimum one month notice to cancel will apply. No refund will be given if training is cancelled with less than one months’ notice and the invoice will be payable in full.

If there is a last-minute change in venue from your company, there will be additional travel and accommodation charges, if our trainer must make additional arrangements. An additional invoice will be raised and sent to you.  

Unless other arrangements have been made with National Training Services, our cancellation charges will apply:

Within 1 month of the scheduled course date:                                       20%

Within 10 working days of the scheduled course date:                            50%

Within 5 working days of the scheduled course date:                             100%

In the event of a no show, no contact by you/ your delegate:                 100%                             

•           Notice of cancellation must be confirmed in writing to us by email (info@ntstraining.co.uk).

•           In this event, a confirmation will be forwarded to you advising of any refund due.

•           Refunds will be made within 30 days of cancellation receipt.

•           National Training Services reserves the right to cancel any training course, prior to the training course start date.

•           In the case of a cancellation by National Training Services, a full refund or transfer to another course date will be offered.

•           In the case of a cancellation National Training Services will not refund travel, accommodation or other expenses incurred by the delegates or the delegate's organisation.

 

Postponement policy:

Postponements must be agreed with National Training Services in writing via email.

Individual delegates may postpone a booked training session free of charge once only. Your original invoice will still be payable on the original due date. If you wish to move again, you will be invoiced and charged again for the new booking. No refund will be issued for the original booking.

For group bookings of three persons or more, postponement is not available, see our cancellation policy. Please contact us to discuss.

National Training Services reserves the right to postpone any training courses.
In the case of a postponement by National Training Services, a full refund or transfer to another course date will be offered.
In the case of a postponement National Training Services will not refund travel, accommodation or other expenses incurred by the delegates or the delegate’s organisation.

 

Other:

All delegates booking information and invoicing details fall under data protection and WILL NOT be shared with any other party other than City & Guilds, without express prior permission.

We will send all delegates Pre-Course Forms which need to be completed in full and returned to us via email, prior to the course commencement.

National Training Services reserve the right to withhold materials and certificates until all outstanding invoice payments have been received in full. Should payment not be received after 60 days, outstanding invoices will automatically be passed to a recovery agency.

Only persons that have attended a National Training Services training course will be provided the course materials.

Replacement materials are only available within the first year of the course completion date. After which you will need to attend a 1-day refresher course.

Lateness – whilst we appreciate unexpected things can happen when travelling in. You must let us know asap if you or your delegates are going to be late by calling the office on 01604 472277. We can make some provision if we know what is happening.

The maximum time limit to joining a course is 30 mins after the course has started. The course start time is stated on the joining instructions sent with your booking confirmation or has been agreed with you during the booking process.  

 

 By submitting a booking form or requesting to be booked via email, you are confirming that you have read, understood and agree to the terms and conditions as laid out here.
