As a leading provider of workplace safety training, our train the trainer courses are designed with businesses and their workers in mind. As a result, we offer a long list of training courses to ensure employees can gain the knowledge and skills they need to reduce risk, fulfil legal requirements, satisfy their moral obligations, and reap several rewards.
The first and most obvious benefit of having a trained fire marshal within your business to provide training and support to the wider workforce is their role in the prevention of fire.
As part of our Fire Marshal Train the Trainer, instructors will become well versed in fire safety awareness. Fire alarms, use and maintenance of firefighting equipment, evacuation procedures, liaising with the fire brigade, fire drills, re-entry into the building, and other special duties are all covered in our syllabus.
The trained fire marshals we make possible benefit employers too. With a good understanding of fire legislation, your fire marshal will be able to help you understand the latest government rules and regulations that affect your workplace.
When you attend our 2 day RoSPA Assured Fire Safety Marshal/Warden Trainer’s course you will become an instructor and be able to train employees to become effective fire wardens or marshals. The course also enables you to carry out training in basic fire safety awareness and you will receive some experience of discharging a fire extinguisher.
There are no prerequisites to attend this training. This course is suitable for beginners, up to experienced practitioners. We incorporate all levels of experience within the training.
This course is also available to book via the CITB Employers Network. Please contact your Customer Engagement Advisor from the CITB to book this course for you first. Then, please complete and return a booking form to us and confirm that your booking is going through the CITB.
Our open courses are held at our training centre Unit 1, Adams House, Northampton Science Park, Kings Park Road, Moulton Park Industrial Estate, Northampton, NN3 6LG.
We can also bring our training to you for groups, Nationwide.
We will provide all course attendees with all handouts with underpinning knowledge, PowerPoint Presentation, Lesson Plan, Step-by-Step Guide, Trainer’s manual, Practical and theory assessment guidance, Key faults found in learners and Free Post Course support.
