Course Aim:
To enable the candidate to carry out their own courses to train
operatives in safe material handling in compliance with the relevant
regulations
Suitable for:
Trainers or individuals who have the responsibility for delivering manual handling training.
Covering:
Work base solutions in the techniques of lifting, lowering, pushing, pulling and carrying of various sized and shaped objects.

Assessment Criteria:
There is no written test but the trainees will be assessed during the course with the emphasis on the practical element. Each candidate will be required to fill in a pre-course form and a post course form to fulfil the City and Guilds requirement to successfully complete the course.
The training involves candidate participation with the emphasis on the practical element of the training. On day two the candidate will carry out a practical training session on which they will be assessed.
Candidates will receive a full instructors pack including software with PowerPoint, lesson plan and all course materials required to deliver the course.
