To enable the candidate to carry out effective manual handling assessments in accordance with the requirements of the Manual Handling Operations Regulations 1992.

Assessment Criteria:

The training involves candidate participation with the emphasis on the practical element of the training.

The HSE recommended MAC tool is covered.

Candidates will carry out example assessments on the course, which will be assessed, and they will undertake a brief written question paper.

Candidates will receive software with assessment format and guidance notes.
