Manual Handling Assessor
Using both the HSE’s MAC Tool and our
own unique assessment and action plan approach,
you will be able to carry out effective manual
handling assessments.
Duration: Two days
Course Aim: To enable the candidate to carry out effective
manual handling assessments in accordance
with the requirements of the Manual Handling
Operations Regulations 1992.

Assessment Criteria: Candidates will carry out example assessments
on the course, which themselves will be assessed.
They will undertake a brief written question
paper.
The training involves candidate participation
with the emphasis on the practical element
of the training.
Candidates will receive software with assessment
format and guidance notes.
