Duration: 2 Days
Course Aim: For you to be able to deliver your
own courses in the safe use of ladders and/or
steps to operatives.
Learning Outcomes:
By the end of the course you will be able
to display an understanding of:
- Basic overview of the Work at Height Regulations
- The hazards of ladder use and why have training
- Ladder choice - classes, types and accessories
- Limitations of use
- Ladder inspection
- Safe erection of ladders
- Safe use of ladders
- Storage
- Assessment of trainees
The training will include practical assessments
of the instructors as they deliver their
own training.
Each candidate will receive an trainer’s
pack complete with:
o Instructor’s notes with all underpinning
knowledge
o PowerPoint
o Lesson plan
o Handouts
o Assessment sheets
o Step by step guide to delivering their training
We provide a post course advisory service
to trainers who have attended our course.
